About ToolNest

ToolNest is a free collection of 65 online tools for the small jobs that come up every day — shrinking a photo for an application form, joining two PDFs, pulling the audio out of a recording, tidying a spreadsheet, generating a QR code or checking why a website is slow.

Who runs this site

ToolNest is built and maintained by NexGama, a digital studio working on web development, AI solutions and SEO. We created these tools because we needed them ourselves and were tired of sites that upload private documents, add watermarks or lock basic features behind a subscription.

How the tools work

Almost every tool runs entirely inside your web browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. When you compress an image or merge a PDF, the work is done by your own phone or computer. Your files are never sent to our server, which makes the tools private and fast — there is no upload or download wait.

The Network tools are the only exception: a browser can’t look up DNS records, inspect an SSL certificate or time another website by itself, so those checks run on our server and only the domain you enter is sent.
